Wingfoil and wingsurf coaching for all levels
I'm an RYA qualified wingfoil and wingsurf coach. I help complete beginners (we've all been there!) through to those wanting to learn and improve more advanced skills.
I run most courses from Calshot on the south coast. It's a great venue for learning as it works in most wind directions and offers both safe, flat water and wind blown swell out in the Solent.
The main courses that I run are listed below but I also offer bespoke coaching if you have specific learning points in mind, just contact me to request. I coach one to one or up to groups of four.
Courses
Wingsurf starter
Get a taste of wingsurfing and learn how to handle the power of the wing. By the end of the session, you'll know how to steer in a straight line and do basic turns.
Wingfoil gybes
Gybing is a foundational skill and loads of fun! In this session, you'll learn the skills to complete smooth, controlled gybes and ride out toe first.
Wingfoil first flights
This session is all about getting you up on the foil in a controlled way. You'll learn the skills to take off smoothly, fly for a short time and come back down.
Wingfoil tacks
This session gets you around those tacks on the foil! We normally focus on toe first tacks but can help you with heel first if that's what you want.
Wingfoil sustained flights
Want to take those short flights and turn them into endless glides? This session gives you the wing and board skills to stay on the foil for as long as you want.
Wingfoil advanced skills
Heineken gybes, downwind 360's, jumps, backwinded, wingpass tacks/gybes - the list of more advanced skills and tricks is endless - just let us know what you want to learn.
